Thomas Franks
ODESSA - Thomas L. Franks, 76, of Odessa a retired truck driver, died Friday, 
Sept. 20, 2002, at Hospice House.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Rose Hill Cemetery. Arrangements 
by Chapa Funeral Home.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Mary J. Franks of Odessa; sons, Tommy Joe Franks of Portales, 
N.M. and Kenneth Franks of Big Spring; daughters, Dorothy Winch of Las Vegas, 
Nev. and Dallas Fay Draper of Melrose, N.M.; sisters, Earlene Little of Pendal, 
Calif. and Nelda Pinentla of Fresno, Calif.; seven grandchildren; and six 
great-grandchildren.

Helen Gross
ANDREWS - Helen Ford Gross, 82, of Andrews, a retired secretary, died Thursday, 
Sept. 19, 2002, in Odessa.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Second Baptist Church in Andrews with the 
Rev. Ivy Shelton officiating. Burial will be at Andrews Old Cemetery. 
Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home.
She was born in Bossier City, La. She was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Huband, James B. Gross of Andrews; stepsons, Don Gross of Crane and 
Dale Gross of Andrews; brother, Jerry Works of Texarkana; sisters, Lorraine 
Saint, June Freeman, Thelma Coker, Louise Baumberger, and Shirley Canon, all of 
Texarkana, Ruby "Sis" Morganson of Kansas City, Mo., and Ann Morgan and Dorothy 
Hodge, both of Idaho City, Idaho.

Eunice McCarty
ANDREWS - Eunice Roch McCarty, 93, of Andrews, a retired nurse, died Thursday, 
Sept. 19, 2002, at Andrews Health Care Center.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Odessa with the 
Rev. Jimmy Braswill officiating. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home.
She was born in Roch.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Jaunice Westbrook of Andrews; six grandchil-dren; five 
great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
