Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. today at Santa Rosa Catholic Church with the Rev. Miguel Sanchez officiating. Burial will follow at the Balmorhea Cemetery. Arrangements by Peaceful Garden Funeral Home. He was an Army veteran. He was Catholic. SURVIVORS: Brothers, Eloy Subia of Fort Stockton and Issac Subia of Odessa; and sisters, Lydia Rodriguez and Evangelina Garcia, both of Pecos. Pinkie Thornton MONAHANS - Pinkie Lee Thornton, 73, of Monahans, a homemaker, died Thursday, Sept. 26, 2002, in Monahans. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Shiloh Baptist Church with the Rev. J.D. Stewart officiating. Burial will follow at Monahans Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements by Family Funeral Services/ Jackie Harkey. She was born in Coolidge. Elena Matta TOYAH - Elena H. Matta, 75, of Odessa, a homemaker, died Saturday, Sept. 28, 2002, at Seabury Nursing Home in Odessa. Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Monday at the church with the Rev. Cerafin Avenido officiating. A rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Burial will be at Toyah Cemetery. Arrangements by Martinez Funeral Home. She was Catholic.
