L. Vinita Anthony
MONAHANS - L. Vinita Anthony, 92, of Bryan, a homemaker, died Monday, Oct. 14, 
2002, in Bryan.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church in Monahans with 
the Rev. Jeff Box officiating. Burial will be at Monahans Memorial Cemetery. 
Arrangements by Family Funeral Services/Jackie Harkey.
She was born in Beard County and was a former resident of Monahans.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Rayford G. Anthony of College Station, D. Wesley Anthony of 
Houston; Morris W. Anthony of Arlington; O. Mark Anthony of Bryan and James E. 
Anthony of Bangkok, Thailand; brother, Joe P. Sherrill of Houston; and sister, 
L. Zelma Johnson of Monahans.

Myrtle Cline
ODESSA - Myrtle Morris Cline, 93, of Corsicana, a retired sales clerk, died 
Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2002, in Corsicana.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Sunset Memorial Gardens in 
Odessa. Arrangements by Corley Funeral Home of Corsicana.
She was born in Iatan and was a longtime resident of Odessa. She was Methodist.
SURVIVORS: Son, Morris Cline of Tool; sister, Zelda Armstrong of Abilene; three 
grandchildren; and two great-granddaughters.

Artie Nail
ODESSA - Artie Nail, 91, of Odessa, a retired foreman, died Monday, Oct. 14, 
2002, at Medical Center Hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home with the Rev. 
Don Hetherington officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. 
Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
He was born in Stephenville. He was a member of Faith Temple Fellowship Full 
Gospel.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Connell Nail of Odessa; daughters, Barbara Altom and Carol 
Carlile, both of Odessa; brother, Sam Nail of Vernon; seven grandchildren; and 
17 great-grandchildren.

Rose Ryan
FORT STOCKTON - Rose Ryan, 67, of Fort Stockton, a homemaker, died Sunday, Oct. 
13, 2002, in Houston.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at East Hill Cemetery with the 
Rev. A.D. Jackson officiating. Arrangements by Fort Stockton Funeral Home.
She was born in Waldo, Ohio. She was non-denominational.
SURVIVORS: Sons, George Ryan and Robert Ryan, both of New Braunfels, Steve Ryan 
of Fort Stockton and Jeff Ryan of Caldwell; daughter, Karen Turman of Fort 
Stockton; brothers, Dick Morgan of Ohio and Bill Morgan of Galion, Ohio; nine 
grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Neva Burris
FRITCH - Neva Lynn Burris, 63, of Fritch, died Saturday, Oct. 12, 2002, in 
Fritch.
Services are pending with Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch.
