Juanita Salmon
ODESSA - Juanita Salmon, 84, of Odessa, a homemaker, died Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2002, at Deering Nursing Home in Odessa.
Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Odessa. Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at Martinez Funeral Home. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery. Arrangements by Martinez Funeral Home.
She was born in Fort Stockton. She was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Son, Tony Salmon of Pecos; daughters, Mary Rodriguez and Gloria Rodriguez, both of Odessa, and Senaida Lara of El Paso; brothers, Henry Castelo and Mike Castelo, both of Fort Stockton, and Juan Castelo of Las Cruces, N.M.; sisters, Maria (Lila) Acosta of Fort Stockton, Lupe Urias and Rita Garza of Corpus Christi, Josefina Grado of Odessa and Elisa Esparza of Monahans; 25 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Alfred Carrasco
MONAHANS - Alfred Carrasco, 67, of Monahans, a retired Texaco pumper, died Thursday, Oct. 24, 2002, at Ward Memorial Hospital.
Mass will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Saturday at St. John’s Catholic Church with the Rev. John Lucido officiating. Rosary will be said at 8 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Chapel. Burial will be at Monahans Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements by Heritage Funeral Home.
He was born in Barstow. He was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Gloria Carrasco of Monahans; son, Alfredo Carrasco Jr. of Monahans; daughters, Debbie Ann Carrasco Vasquez and Guadalupe Carrasco DeAnda, both of Odessa; brother, Luis Carrasco of Monahans; sisters, Manuela Estorga, Sabina Franco, Emma Espinosa and Aurora Carrasco, all of Monahans; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Dorothy Harrison
ODESSA - Dorothy Irene Harrison, 76, of Odessa, died Thursday, Oct. 24, 2002, at Medical Center Hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Bethany Christian Church with the Revs. Robert Scofield and George Randall officiating. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
She was born in Kirk, Colo. She was Christian.
SURVIVORS: Husband, James, C. (Jim) Harrison of Odessa; sons, James Cecil Harrison Jr. and Timothy Earl Harrison, both of Odessa; daughters, Theresa Maine Smith of Odessa and the Rev. Ola Irene (Cricket) Harrison of Lexington, Ky.; brother, Cloyd Orrin Laughlin of Great Bend, Kan.; sister, Marjorie Lois Laughlin Scott of Mountain Home, Ark.; six grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.

James Copeland
ODESSA - James "J.B." Copeland, 81, of Odessa, died Thursday, Oct. 24, 2002, at Parks Retirement Village.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Lutheran Church of the Risen Lord with the Rev. James Otterness officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Home.
He was born in Chickasha, Okla.
SURVIVORS: Daughters, Karen Frazier of Austin, Kathy Stokes and Karla McIntosh, all of Odessa; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
