Francis Berard
ANDREWS - Francis J. Berard, 86, of Andrews, a former auto body shop owner, died Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2002, at the Avalon Place in Odessa. 
Private memorial services will be held. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home.
He was born in Winslow, Maine. He was Catholic. 
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Jean Gonzales of Andrews; four brothers; seven sisters; and one grandchild.

Clayton Elliott
WOODVILLE - Clayton Lindley Elliott, 36, of Andrews, a mechanic, died Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2002, in Andrews. 
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at New Shiloh Baptist Church with the Revs. Luis Tubbs, Ken Leweling and Teddy Mack Minyard officiating. Burial will be at Camp Ground Cemetery. 
He was born in Nederland. 
SURVIVORS: Sons, Cory Elliott of Coleman and Jordan Hernandez Elliott of Brady; daughter, Courtney Elliott of Coleman; mother, Janice Tucker Elliott of Colmesneil; sisters Donja hill of Colmesneil and Kati Evans of Woodville; half sisters, Anita Armstrong and Laurie Hamby, both of Stephenville.

Verlin Knous
BIG SPRING - Verlin Knous, 75, of Big Spring, a Meals on Wheels worker, died Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2002, in Big Spring.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel. Burial will be at Trinity Memorial Park. Arrangements by Nalley-Pickel & Welch Funeral Home of Big Spring. 
He was born in Chireno. He was Baptist. 
SURVIVORS: Wife, Edith Knous of Big Spring; sons, Richard Knous of Del Rio, David Knous of Odessa and Jerry Knous of Midland; two sisters, Mary Lee Fitzgerald Lemmon of Malacoff and Freddie Butler of St. Augustine; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Billy Smith
ODESSA - Billy Bert Smith, 82, of Odessa, a retired salesman for Homco Equipment, died Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2002, at his residence.
Graveside services will be at 9 a.m. today at Odessa Cemetery. Arrangement by Odessa Funeral Home. 
He was born in Snyder. He was an Army veteran. 
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Sherry Sides of Odessa; and three grandchildren. 

Walter Presley
Walter Presley, 83, of Odessa, died Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2002, at Medical Center Hospital.
Services are pending with Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
