Hubert Bright 
WICKETT - Hubert R. Bright, 84, of Odessa, a retired maintenance superintendent, died Friday, Nov. 22, 2002, at Medical Center Hospital.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Church of Christ in Wickett. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors. 
He was born in Stone County, Ark. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Wilma Bright of Wickett; sons, Arnold Bright of Jonesboro, Ark., Donald Bright of Houston and Allen Bright of Austin; sisters, Edith Freeze of Monahans and Lola Canard of Mountain View, Ark.; eight grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. 

Cecil Combest Sr.
ODESSA - Cecil "Bud" Park Combest Sr., 70, of Odessa, a retired clerk for the U.S. Postal Service, died Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2002, at Home Hospice Residence. 
Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Odessa Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Braswell officiating. Burial will be at Odessa Cemetery. Arrangements by Odessa Funeral Home.
He was born in Clarendon. He was Christian 
SURVIVORS: Sons, Stephen Combest and Kenneth Combest, both of Odessa, Robert Combest of San Antonio and Cecil Combest Jr. of Houston; brother, Michael Combest of Elkhart, Ind.; sister, Beth Beard of Katy; and three grandchildren.

Doris Lacasse
ANDREWS - Doris Lacasse, 71, of Andrews, a homemaker, died Thursday, Nov. 21, 2002, at Permian General Hospital in Andrews. 
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Second Baptist Church in Andrews with the Revs. Ivy Shelton and Dale Dozier officiating. Burial will be at the Andrews West Cemetery. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home. 
She was born in Runnels County. She was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Brenda Stringfield of Andrews; sons, Jesse McAffe of Tempe, Ariz., and Richard Niki of Andrews; stepdaughters, Brenda Bollinger of Clovis, N.M., Debbie Phillips of Levelland and Marsha Stanley of Lubbock; stepson, Douglas Lacasse of Minden, La.; sister, Ilene Hogeland of Andrews; 16 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. 

Maria Mackintosh
FORT STOCKTON - Maria Margarita M. Mackintosh, 61, of Fort Stockton died Thursday, Nov. 21, 2002, in Fort Stockton.
Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Monday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. A rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Sunday at the church. Arrangements by Memorial Funeral Home.
She was born in Fort Stockton. She was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Guillermo Antonio Mackintosh of Fort Stockton; daughters, Elizabeth Mackintosh of Midland, Norma Mackintosh Martinez and Lucia Mackintosh Gilbert, both of Fort Stockton, and Virginia Mackintosh Esquivel of Hobbs, N.M.; brothers, Joe P. Martinez and Manuel P. Martinez, both of Fort Stockton; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

RANKIN - D. L. Wheeler, 99, of Rankin, a retired service station owner, died Friday, Nov. 22, 2002, at the McCamey Convalescent Center. 
Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Rankin Cemetery with the Rev. Jim Medley officiating. Arrangements by Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home. 
He was born in Goldthwite. He was Baptist.
SURVIVOR: Sister, Bonnie Mae Hines of Gatesville. 

Alvin Belt
ODESSA - Alvin Edward Belt, 90, of Odessa died Thursday, Nov. 21, 2002, at Medical Center Hospital.

ODESSA - Aridai Gabaldon Ortega, three months, of Odessa died Friday, Nov. 22, 2002.

ODESSA - Nita Pressly, 65, of Odessa, died Friday, Nov. 22, 2002, at her residence.
