Billy Evans
VALENTINE - Billy Ray "Bill" Evans, 63, of Valentine, a rancher, died Monday, Nov. 25, 2002.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Valentine Cemetery. Arrangements by Geeslin Funeral Home.
He was born in Wichita Falls. 
SURVIVORS: Wife, Patsy Evans of Valentine; son, Hal Evans of Balmorhea; daughter, Nikki Word of Longview; stepdaughters, Shari Hawkins and Shelley Boettcher, both of Alpine; and six grandchildren. 

Mauricia Garcia
FORT STOCKTON - Mauricia "Wisha" Garcia, 73, of Fort Stockton, a housekeeper, died Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2002, in Fort Stockton.
Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Agnes Church with the Rev. David Herrera officiating. Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Friday at St. Agnes Church. Burial will be at Fort Stockton Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements by Fort Stockton Funeral Home. 
She was born in Terlingua. She was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Brigido "Vico" Garcia of Fort Stockton; stepdaughter, Yvonne Ramirez of Andrews; brothers, Gregorio Chavarria, Flavio Chavarria, Richard Chavarria and Felipe Chavarria, all of Fort Stockton; sister, Anita Gonzales of Fort Stockton; and three step-grandchildren

W.A. Sutphen
ODESSA - W. A. "Dub" Sutphen, 92, of Odessa, a retired carpenter, died Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2002, at Medical Center Hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in the Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Braswell officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
He was born in Mitchell County. He was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Jewel Sutphen of Odessa; daughters, Janis Chowning and Sandra Brock, both of Odessa, and Brenda Jones of Grand Prairie; son, Aubrey Sutphen of Odessa; brother, Charles Sutphen of Florsville; sisters, Lucille Plowman of Carlsbad, N.M., Clydine Springer of Seminole, Okla., and Elta Owens of Artesia, N.M.; eight grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.

Betty White
ODESSA - Betty White, 77, of Odessa, died Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2002, at Hospice House. 
Services are pending with Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
