All rights reserved ============================================================================================ Wednesday February 13, 2002 Sybil LaVerne Allison Sybil LaVerne Allison, 62, of Odessa passed away Sunday, Feb. 10, 2002, at Medical Center Hospital. She was born May 18, 1939, in Des Arc, Ark., to James and Rena Barnes. She came to Odessa in 1948. She married Frank Allison on April 6, 1962, in Odessa. She had attended school at Odessa High School. She was a member of Full Gospel Covenant Church. Her husband, Frank Allison; her two sons, Johnny Dobbs and Gary Allison; and a daughter, Kim, preceded her in death. She is survived by her sons, Bill Allison and wife Kay of Cherokee, Jeff Barnes and wife Donna of North Richland Hills and Eddie Rich and wife Sandy of Odessa; a daughter, Brenda Richardson; sisters, Margaret Reed and husband Robert of Odessa and Gloria Woods and husband Delton of Odessa; 13 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 15, 2002, at Sunset Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Jack Oden officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Services are under the care of Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
