All rights reserved ============================================================================================ Monday February 25, 2002 Mary Belle Murrell ODESSA - Mary Belle Murrell, 88, of Odessa, passed away Friday, Feb. 22, 2002, at the Hospice House. She was born Feb. 2, 1914 in Tolar, Texas. She married Belker B. "B.B." Murrell on July 30, 1935 in Ranger. He preceded her in death Jan. 7, 1995. Mrs. Murrell moved to Odessa in 1955 from Goldsmith. She was a homemaker and a member of the First United Methodist Church. She was a dedicated wife, mother and a loving grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by her son, Rex A. Murrell and wife, Nancy of Newalla, Okla.; daughters, Jane Hext and Glenna B. Cheek and husband Bob, all of Odessa; brothers, George T. Wilcox Jr., of Cisco and Morris Wilcox of Tucumcari, N.M.; seven grandchildren, Debbie and Tim Hodges, Donna and Chuck Oaks, Melinda and Tim Spencer, Susan and Mark Palmer, Amy and Billy Goley, Sandy Murrell and Benjamin Murrell; and 12 great-grandchildren. Public visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday with the family to receive friends from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 25, 2002, at Grace Christian Fellowship with the Rev. Bob Cheek officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens under the direction of Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Parks Methodist Retirement Village Memorial Fund, 7801 San Machell Dr., Odessa, Texas, 79765; the Hospice House, 903 N.
