All rights reserved ============================================================================================ Friday March 15, 2002 Henry Hall ODESSA - Mr. Henry Hall, 89, passed away Monday, March 11, 2002, in Broken Arrow, Okla. Private family services are to be held in Odessa. He was a drilling superintendent for A.W. Thompson Oil Co. and retired after 35 years in the oil and gas industry. Mr. Hall was a member of the Masonic Lodge and was an avid dancer. Henry was married to Margaret Smith Hall on June 30, 1988. He will be lovingly remembered by all those who knew him. He was preceded in death by two brothers. Mr. Hall is survived by his wife, Margaret of the home; daughters, Geraldine Lambert of Texarkana and Linda Etheridge of San Antonio; son, Donnie Hall of Odessa; stepson, Bob Shull of Wichita, Kan.; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. Arrangements by Kennard Funeral Services in Broken Arrow. Hollen Morine Harris ODESSA - Hollen Morine Harris, 81, of Odessa passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2002, at Medical Center Hospital. She was born Nov. 25, 1920, to Clemmy and Fannie Greene in Caddo, Okla. Hollen married Scott Harris on Oct. 8, 1938, in Oklahoma City. They moved to Odessa in 1946. She enjoyed cooking, playing cards, slot machines and her family. Her parents; a brother, J.C.; and a sister, Charlotte Smith preceded her in death. Survivors include her husband, Scott of Odessa; son, Jerry Scott Harris and wife Carla of Conroe; daughter, Priscilla M. Kemp and husband Charles of Odessa; brothers, Paul E. Greene and wife Cecilia and William H. Greene; sisters, Roberta A. Burley and husband Jack of Sherman and LaDonna J. Hayes and husband Clifford of Rogers, Ark.; and five grandchildren, Scott Murdock, David Murdock, Cheryl Cypret, Laura McDuff and Gary Harris. Graveside services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday, March 18, 2002, at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Craig DeArmond officiating. The family will receive visitors from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, March 17, 2002, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. The family requests memorials to be made to a charity of your choice. Services are under the direction of Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Alice Elizabeth Thompson ODESSA - Alice Elizabeth Thompson, 88, of Odessa passed away Thursday, March 14, 2002, at her residence. She was born March 16, 1913, in Smithville to A.T. and Sallie Steward. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie L. Thompson in 1968 and Cliff Robinson in 1983; her son, Lonnie L. Thompson Jr. in 2000; her daughter, Sallie Dell Hughes in 2001; and a grandson, Lonnie L. Thompson III in 1982. She worked with the DeMolay Mothers Club in her early years. She was employed with Dunlap's for many years and enjoyed china painting. She was a member of Cumberland Presbyterian Church and was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Duncan and husband Tom of Odessa; son-in-law, Boyd Hughes of Odessa; seven grandchildren, Debbie Kinsel of Corsicana, Diane Jones of Sonora, Tom Duncan Jr. of Hobbs, N.M., Denise Reed of Colorado Springs, Colo., Renee Brister of Evergreen, Colo., Bryan Hughes of Odessa and Jeff Hughes of Odessa; 11 great-grandchildren, Justin Steadman of Sonora, Ryan King of Corsicana, Tanner Duncan, Carlie Duncan and Cole Duncan of Hobbs, N.M., Dustin Draughn and Linsey Draughn of Colorado Springs, Colo., Garret Lee Brister of Evergreen, Colo., Jennifer Hughes of Odessa, Cody Hughes of Odessa and Brad Hughes of Las Vegas; a great-great-grandson, Hunter Bryan Hughes of Odessa; and a very special friend, Juanell "Sam" Deutsch. Graveside services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, March 16, 2002, at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Jimmy Braswell officiating.
