All rights reserved =========================================================================== Tuesday June 25, 2002 Wesley Brown Jr. ODESSA - Wesley Brown Jr., 55, a disabled construction worker, died Saturday, June 22, 2002, at Medical Center Hospital. He was born Dec. 18, 1946, in Birmingham, Ala., the son of Wesley and Annie Hatcher Brown Sr. Mr. Brown Jr. settled in Odessa in 1981 where he met Rosa Rivera and were married Nov. 27, 1990. He was previously from Birmingham. He served in the U.S. Army for 11 years with two tours of duty in Vietnam and saw places throughout the world. He was preceded in death by his father, Wesley Brown Sr. He is survived by his wife, Rosa Brown of Odessa; mother, Annie P. Brown of Birmingham; sisters, Diane Watts of Birmingham and Camilla King of Beltsville, Md.; brother, Victor Brown of Gambrills, Md.; stepsons, Ernest (Socorro) Rivera of Alamogordo, N.M., and Raymond Rivera (Norma) of Odessa; stepdaughter, Dora Rivera of Odessa; granddaughters, Valeria Loera (Ubaldo) of Odessa, Melanie Tavarez (Manuel) of Odessa, Starley Ryan (Rob) of Gilbert, Ariz., Stacey Vega of Alamogordo, Stephanie Vasquez of Odessa and Brittany Vasquez of Odessa; grandsons, Cory Rivera of Odessa and Chris Rivera of Odessa; great- grandchildren, BoRay, Jariss, Evana, Jordan and Tori; and several nieces and nephews. Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 26, 2002, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church. Burial will be at Ector County Cemetery. Fosnaugh BURKBURNETT - Marcia J. Fosnaugh, 42, a five-year resident of Arlington, died Saturday, June 22, 2002, at her residence. Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. today, June 25, 2002, at the Burkburnett Cemetery with the Rev. Don Fankhauser of Antioch Christian Church of Odessa officiating. She was born Dec. 21, 1959. She was a real estate agent representing the Dallas- Fort Worth Metroplex. She had been a resident of Burkburnett and a longtime resident of Odessa. She graduated from Permian High School and was a member of Antioch Christian Church of Odessa. She married Tom Fosnaugh on July 1, 1988. She is survived by her husband, Thomas E. Fosnaugh of Arlington; son, Jason D. Darby of the U.S. Navy in Norfolk, Va.; daughters, Brianne J. Darby of Arlington, Shannon Sanborn of Mesquite and Heather Fosnaugh of Odessa; mother, Ann Groves of Burkburnett; sisters, Jeanne Ranft of San Augustine, Lilli Golden and Carri Schneider, both of Burkburnett; grandchildren, Ashlyn Darby of Burkburnett and Alex Darby of Norfolk, Va.; and brothers, Mark and Jon Groves of Wichita Falls and Luke Groves of Odessa. Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Poucher died Sunday, June 23, 2002, at Medical Center Hospital. She was born Dec. 3, 1932, in Waynesville, Mo. She was a homemaker and a member of the Assembly of God Church. Ernest Lloyd Harris ODESSA - Ernest Lloyd "Coon" Harris, 84 years of age, passed away Sunday, June 23, 2002, at Medical Center Hospital. He was born June 10, 1918, in Azle to Joe and Ann Harris. Mr. Harris retired after 30 years from French Tool and Supply. He also served in the U.S. Army from 1941 to 1945. He was preceded in death by his wife, Annie L. Harris. He is survived by his daughter, Judy Keefer and her husband Don of Odessa; brothers, Grover Harris and wife Billie of Granbury, Vance Lindell Harris and wife Dorothy and Dwayne Harris and wife Jean, all of Azle; grandchildren, Scott Dugger and wife Dayna, Amber Helms and husband Douglas, Michelle Perrin and husband Patrick, Robby Keefer and wife Tracy and Brandon Brewer and wife Casey; and 14 great-grandchildren. Julius Moon CROWLEY - Julius William "Jack" Moon, 76, a retired oilfield driller, went to be with his Savior Saturday, June 22, 2002. Funeral: 10 a.m. today at Mountain Valley Chapel. Interment: 3 p.m. today at Hawkins Cemetery in Hawkins. Jack Moon, a kind, loving and gentle father and grandfather, was born Nov. 22, 1925, in Crow, the son of Wilkes L. and Lockie O'Neal Moon. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He had been a resident of Crowley for four years and had lived in Odessa for many years. Jack was a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Crowley and enjoyed gardening and piddling. Survivors: His son, Kevin Moon and wife Debbie of Flower Mound; daughters, Judy Godwin and husband Wes of Odessa and Cindy Cowan and husband J.D. of Crowley; sister, Eula Faye Talbert of Gladewater; grandchildren, Jeremy Godwin of Odessa, Jay Godwin of Fort Hood, Colton Cowan and Kelby Cowan of Crowley; and great- grandchildren, Jennifer and J.J. Godwin of Odessa. W.T. Peacock Jr. ODESSA - W.T. Peacock Jr., born April 14, 1924, in Midland, went to be with Jesus on Sunday, June 23, 2002. W.T. was preceded in death by both parents, W.T. Peacock Sr. and Etta Peacock, and a sister, Von Cill. He was a graduate of Jal High School in Jal, N.M. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was awarded the Purple Heart. After the war, W.T. married Naomi Robinson on July 27, 1946. He worked for Phillips Petroleum Co. for 40 years. W.T. and Naomi have been active members of Belmont Baptist Church. They have served on many committees in many capacities. W.T. was a deacon. He served on the Medical Center Hospital Auxiliary. W.T. is survived by his wife, Naomi; three children, Kerry Peacock and wife Diane of San Angelo, Jana Bradley and husband Jim of Odessa and Patty Bryant and husband Chuck of Odessa; a host of grandchildren, Rich and Christi Burkle of Plano, Bill and Carey Peacock and Royce Peacock of San Angelo, Robbie and Missy Fowler, Jessie McCartney, Scott Bradley, Cody and Lucas Bryant, all of Odessa; several stepgrandchildren, Jenni and Randy Davidson, Melynda Presley and Dana Presley, all of San Angelo; and a great-grandson, Brandon Fowler of Odessa. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 26, 2002, at Belmont Baptist Church with the Revs. G.A. Magee and Kerry Peacock officiating. Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
