All rights reserved =========================================================================== Saturday July 13, 2002 Louise Bridges ODESSA - Louise Bridges of Odessa died Wednesday, July 10, 2002, at Odessa Regional Hospital. She was born Nov. 1, 1919, in Huntington, Ark. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. today, July 13, 2002, at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Griffin Jones officiating. Louise Bridges lived 82 loving and caring years. Her loving spirit will live on through her adult children, granddaughter, treasured family members and her many adored and lifelong friends. She will be remembered for her laughter, gift of gab, kindness, thoughtfulness and generosity. She never missed an occasion to remember someone with a touching card or phone call. Mrs. Bridges moved to Odessa in 1966. She was the former owner of Slumberland Sleep Shop and attended Temple Baptist Church. She married Morgan Bridges on Dec. 25, 1940, in Tulsa, Okla. Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Morgan Bridges; daughter, Christie Bridges; parents, John and Mamie Harrison; brother, Harold Harrison; sister-in- law, Lillian Harrison; and friend of family, Sol Oxford. She is survived by a son, Mike Bridges of Odessa; daughter, Linda Gosnell of Midland; granddaughter, Kelly Gosnell; brother, Jean Harrison of Fort Smith, Ark.; sister-in-law, Katherine Harrison of Tulsa, Okla., Dorothea and J.R. Collins of Clarksville, Ark., Delbert and Jean Bright of Longview, Joyce Honeyman and husband Ron of Bellvue, Wash., Judy Harrison of Addison, Jolynne McGee of Addison, Gretchen Clark and husband Aaron of Wheatland, Wyo., Richard Harrison and wife Marcia of Burleson and Rebecca Rather and husband John of Little Rock, Ark.; and her three furry felines.
