Cano, age 77, of Odessa died Wednesday, July 24, 2002, at Medical Center Hospital after a short illness. He was born Dec. 3, 1924, in Ruidosa, Texas, to Andres and Teresa Cano. Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday, July 26, 2002, at St. Mary's Catholic Church with the Rev. Francis Frey officiating. Interment will be at 2 p.m. Friday, July 26, 2002, in Barstow. A vigil service will be held at 7 p.m. today, July 25, 2002, in the chapel of Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors. Mr. Cano married Selia Rico on Oct. 5, 1958. They moved to Odessa in 1965. He was employed by B&B Construction for 20 years and by Sun Chrysler for nine years. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. His wife, Selia Cano, preceded him in death in 1994. He is survived by son, Frank and wife Elizabeth Cano of The Colony; son, Larry and wife Debbie Cano of Fort Worth; daughter, Linda Cano of Odessa; son, Henry and wife Ramona Cano of Round Rock; and grandchildren, Daniel, Christina and Derek Cano, Heather Griffing, Robert Llanez and Jennifer Ramirez. Services entrusted to Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors. Bill J. Eaton Sr. ODESSA - Bill J. Eaton Sr., 70, of Odessa passed away Sunday, July 21, 2002, at Medical Center Hospital. He was born July 16, 1932, in Cromwell, Okla., to C.A. and Stella Eaton Sr. He married Jana Lawson on March 3, 1952, in Snomac, Okla. He moved to Odessa in 1952 and worked for Phillips Petroleum Co. for 42 years. He was a member of the West Odessa First Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Chris Eaton; sister, Josephine Delmar; and niece, Jennifer Delmar. He is survived by his wife, Jana Eaton of Odessa; sons, Billy Jack Eaton Jr. and wife Joanie of Monahans, Michael Wayne Eaton and wife Linda of Monahans and Lance Eaton and wife Toy of Crane; sister, Joyce Johnson of Park Hill, Okla.; five grandchildren, Michael Eaton and wife Jana of San Antonio, Joshua and wife Bobby Jo Eaton of San Antonio, Caleb Eaton of Monahans, Chelsea and Amber Eaton of Crane; stepgrandchildren, Joshua, Jacob and Joel Houseman; also three special children, Darla Townsend, Fred and Cruz Subia; and numerous nieces and nephews.
