All rights reserved =========================================================================== Friday August 02, 2002 Simona Pardo Colunga ODESSA - Simona Pardo Colunga, 63, passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2002, at Medical Center Hospital. She was born Nov. 27, 1938, in Cd. Acuna, Coahuila, Mexico, to Amado and Antonia Pardo. She was married to Daniel Juarez Colunga. She was a Catholic and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by daughter, Maria Del Rosario Loredo; brothers, Rumaldo Pardo and Juan Pardo; and parents, Amado and Antonia Pardo. She is survived by her husband, Daniel Colunga of Odessa; sons, Juan Daniel Colunga and wife Casimira and Luis Antonio Colunga, all of Odessa; daughters, Alma Carrasco and husband Mateo and Lourdes Colunga, all of Odessa; brothers, Isidro Pardo and Jesus Pardo, both of Cd. Acuna, Coahuila, Mexico; sister, Maria Pardo of Cd. Acuna, Coahuila, Mexico; grandchildren, Bule, Caya, Samuel, Consuelo "Chelo," Daniela and Angela, all of Odessa, and Eunice of Del Rio; and great-grandchildren, Danielle Deanna of Odessa, Christopher Zain and Emily Ann, all of Del Rio. Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today at Odessa Funeral Home Chapel. Mass services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 3, 2002, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church officiated by the Rev. Serafin Avenido. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery. Services by Odessa Funeral Home. William Henry "Bill" McCullough ODESSA - William Henry "Bill" McCullough, 70, of Odessa passed away Thursday, Aug. 1, 2002, at Medical Center Hospital. He was born March 17, 1932, in Sidney to Robert and Edna McCullough. Services are scheduled for 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 3, 2002, at Temple Baptist Church with the Rev. Griffin Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. The family will be receiving visitors from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Sunset Memorial Chapel. Bill came to Odessa 50 years ago. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War from 1951 until 1953. He married Julia Molandes on May 21, 1955, in Lovington, N.M. He worked as a sales manager in the oil industry. He ranched in Comanche County. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching his grandchildren play sports. He was a member of the VFW and American Legion. He attended church at Temple Baptist Church. Both parents; two brothers, Buster McCullough and Frank McCullough; and two sisters, Gladys Ostman and Winell Pendergrass, preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife, Julia McCullough of Odessa; sons, David McCullough and wife Aleasha and James McCullough and wife Robin of Odessa; daughter, Janice McCullough-Barbo and husband James David of Katy; sisters, Ione Bragg of Comanche and Ruby Burdell of De Leon; and grandchildren, Justin McCullough, Chase McCullough, Lynsey McCullough, Ariel Barbo and Sydney McCullough.
