All rights reserved =========================================================================== Saturday August 03, 2002 Sy William ‘Bill’ Painter HOUSTON - Sy William "Bill" Painter, 48, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, July 31, 2002, at a local hospital in Houston. Mr. Painter was born on May 11, 1954, in Pecos. Bill was a beloved husband, father, son and grandfather and will be remembered for his love and care of his family. He thoroughly enjoyed the outdoors through gardening, camping and fishing and was also an avid sports enthusiast. Mr. Painter is survived by his wife of 27 years, Debra Lynn James Painter; children, Chad William Painter and wife Mandi, Mechel Renee Painter, Adam Neal Painter and Natalie Priscilla Necole Painter; parents, E.B. and Clarice Painter; sister, Ginny McCarty and husband Danny; grandchildren, Corey, Kayla and Katelyn; and loving mother-in-law, Geraldine James. He is also survived by other loving relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. today at The Chapel of Forest Park Westheimer with interment to follow.
