All rights reserved =========================================================================== Saturday August 17, 2002 Michael Dean Mohesky ODESSA - Michael Dean Mohesky, age 53, of Odessa passed away, Thursday, Aug. 15, 2002, in Odessa. He was born November 25, 1948 in Wichita, Kansas. He married Randy Worden on June 23, 1990 in Odessa. He was a rig mechanic for National Oilwell. Prior to his current employer, Mike was an over the road truck driver for the past 20 years and had recently enjoyed the "ride" of his Harley. He had been in the Army and the Navy. He was a Catholic. Survivors include the wife, Randy Worden Mohesky of Odessa, 2 sons, Greg Mohesky and wife, Shanda of San Angelo, Lance Mohesky of Odessa, daughter, Melissa Mohesky of Odessa and step daughter, Stephanie Worden of Odessa, mother in law, Cora Mae "Boots" Adams of Ruidoso, NM, brother, Brad Mohesky of Odessa, 2 sisters, Toni Conklin and son, Michael of Odessa, Stacy Armstrong and husband, Ken of Odessa, several nieces and nephews, and 2 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Tony and Betty Mohesky and his brother Dennis Mohesky. Family visitation will be Sunday, August 18, 2002, from 3 p.m.–5 p.m. at Hubbard-kelly Funeral Home. Local arrangements are by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. Stephanie L. Munden MIDLAND - Stephanie L. Munden passed away Thursday, Aug. 15, 2002, after a 2-1/2 year battle with cancer. Stephanie was born Aug. 24, 1951 in Guymon, Okla. and had been a resident of Midland since 1977. She was preceded in death by her father, Homer Nichols; and her father-in-law, Howard Munden. Stephanie is survived by her husband, Steve Munden; her son, Jeff Munden and his wife Leisha and granddaughter, Brynn Danielle Munden, all of Midland; her mother, LaMoyne Nichols of Odessa; mother-in-law, Rose Munden of Midland. The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of Midland Memorial Hospital and the Allison Cancer Center for the wonderful care that was given to Stephanie. Graveside services have been scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday, August 19, 2002, at Resthaven Memorial Park with Reverend Lane Boyd officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Ellis Funeral Home. Ester Rebbeca ‘Becky’ Weigel ODESSA - Ester Rebbeca "Becky" Weigel, 52 years, died Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2002, at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa. Mrs. Weigel was born in Hobbs, N.M., to George Sherrod and Mrs. Ellen Bankston. Graveside services will be Monday, Aug. 19, 2002, at Rose Hill Cemetery in Odessa. Survivors are her fiancé, Richard Kawalec of Odessa; son, Eric Crispin of Odessa; daughters, Heather Spadoni and Audra Crispin, both of Odessa; sister, Carol Brock of Carlsbad, N.M.; brothers, Vernon Overcash of Roanoke, Va., and Lewis Overcash of Rocky Mount, Va.; stepbrother, Craig Crispin of Odessa; uncle, Oliver Bankston of Smithville; grandchildren, Katelyn Mathis, Madison Spadoni, Trenity Spadoni, Mason Crispin and Christina Yaney, all of Odessa; two nephews of Odessa, three nieces of Odessa and two great-neices of Odessa.
