Dunaway, 91, of Odessa passed away Monday, Dec. 9, 2002. He was born Nov. 23, 1911. He married Georgia Sanders on Jan. 18, 1934, and she preceded him in death Feb. 12, 1999, after their 65th wedding anniversary. They had been residents of Odessa since 1955 coming from Hobbs, N.M. Mr. Dunaway was a 32nd degree mason and a longtime rig builder and finished his career as an inspector for A.T.& T. for the construction of microwave towers. He was preceded in death by six brothers, Mike, Jessie, Earl, Bill, Arthur and Pete. He is survived by sons, C.H. Dunaway Jr. of Santa Fe, N.M., Bryce J. Dunaway of Atlanta, Ga.; and sister, Carmen Henson of Hobbs, N.M. Public visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 12, 2002, at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. Shellie Lance Mills ODESSA - Shellie Lance Mills, 30, of Odessa passed away Sunday, Dec. 8, 2002, at her residence. She was born Sept. 25, 1972, in Odessa to Eugene and Joann Branum Lance. She was a Member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She married Henry Mills in Odessa. Her greatest accomplishments were her three children Andrea, Dillon and Stevie, She loved them dearly, also her godson Ian whom she helped bring into this world. Shellie will be remembered for her loving, giving, sweet spirit, and we all will remember her beautiful smile and contagious laugh. She is survived by her husband, Henry of Odessa; son, Dillon John Lynch; daughters, Andrea Brook Alford and Stevie Taytum Mills, both of Odessa; parents, Virginia Joann Lance and Edward Eugene Lance; grandparents, Freda and Orville Lance; brother, Nick Lance of Odessa; sisters, Ginger Evans of Dallas and Tanya Brinlee of Granbury; aunts and uncles, Ronnie and Tammy Lauderdale, Sylvia and Max Boatman, June Long, Betty Denett; godmother, Julie Cichy; and godson, Ian Cichy. He was born April 3, 1951, in Cuchillo Parado, Chihuahua, Mexico, to Felipe and Santos Juarez. He was married to Luz Maria Paredes. He was self employed and was Christian. He is preceded in death by his son, Arnulfo Juarez Jr., and sister, Alma Nieto. He is survived by his wife, Luz Maria Paredes Juarez of Odessa; son, Jamie Juarez and wife Olivia of Odessa, Jason Perez, Anthony Juarez, Adrian Juarez and Andres Juarez, all of Odessa; daughters, Frances Rodriguez and husband Jesse of Odessa, Alma Juarez and Angela Juarez, both of Odessa; parents, Felipe Nieto, mother, Santos J. Beatrice "Bea" Vossler ODESSA - Beatrice "Bea" Vossler, 85, of Odessa passed away Monday, Dec. 9, 2002, at her residence. She was born Jan. 25, 1917, in Dallas. She graduated from Sunset High School in Dallas and received a four-year scholarship to Dallas College. She was a bookkeeper for Pinkies for many years before retiring in 1979. She was a pink lady at Medical Center Hospital Auxiliary. She was a member of Bethany Christian Church. She enjoyed knitting and loved to play bridge. She is survived by her son, Travis Vossler and wife Lavon of Odessa; brother, Earl B. Young of Atlanta, Ga.; five grandchildren, Kevin Vossler, Chad Smith and wife Genevieve, Nikki Natvig and husband Todd, LeeAnn James and husband Cory, and Brian Vossler and his wife Keisha; and six great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held 10 a.m. Thursday at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Robert Scofield officiating.
