 Faye Porter

Faye Porter, age 75, of Odessa, went to be with her Lord and Creator on Saturday, Dec. 21, 2002, at Medical Center Hospital.
Graveside services are scheduled for 10 a.m. at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Don Hetherington officiating.
Faye Porter was born April 28, 1927, in Smackover, Ark. to William and Velma Maxwell. She married William Truman Porter in October of 1950 in Snyder, Texas.
He preceded her in death. They came to Odessa in 1955.
Faye had worked as a pastry cook for ECISD for 17 years. She was a member of the Food Service Club and a Baptist.
Faye was well loved by all that knew her and she will be truly missed.
Survivors include her son, William Ray Porter and wife Wanda of Waxahatchie; and a daughter, Carrie Jeffcoat and husband Jim of Odessa; four grandchildren and one great grandson.
The family requests that memorials be made to the West Texas Cancer Center.
Services are entrusted to Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
