L.P. Lindle, I believe, was Lewis Perry Lindle, a brother of Elizabeth D. Lindle Mitchell and Susan Mary Lindle Mitchell. 

 Susan Lindle was my great-grandfather's first wife.  She and James Miles Mitchell married in Spencer County, Kentucky in 1883.  Susan died in 1895 and is buried in St. Joseph cemetery in Ennis.  

My great-grandfather did not remain in Ellis County, as he re-married in 1899 at Victoria County, TX, to Katherine Elizabeth Hammond.  She is my great-grandmother.   Miles died in Medina County, TX in 1950, Katie in Williamson County, TX in 1966.
