HORTON 1875 - 1943 Corsicana Daily Sun Monday February 8, 1943 Mrs. Fannie Horton Buried on Sunday in Alma Cemetery Funeral services for Mrs. Fannie Horton, aged 67 years was held Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock from the Alma Baptist church, Rev. J.C. Johnson officiate. Burial was in the Alma Cemetery. Mrs. Horton died at the family residence in Ennis Saturday night. Surviving are her husband, J.E. Horton, Ennis; four daughters, Mrs. R.L. Shiflett, Ponder: Mrs. Walter Baumbartner, Corsicana; Mrs. Hugh Bell, Rice; Mrs. Joe Tyler, San Antonio; seven sons, Calvin Horton, Bakersfield, CA; Russell Horton, Ennis; Travis Horton, Ponder; Jim Horton, Ponder; Rufus Horton, Alma; Alfred Horton, Dallas; Otis Horton with the US army overseas; two sisters, six brothers, 22 grandchildren and other relatives.
