Ennis lot 5 - Block 15

Know All Men by These Presents:
That We, Grace Redden, individually and as surviving widow in community of the
Estate of A.D. Redden, deceased and in compliance with the intent and authority
given me as beneficiary in the Will of the said A.D. Redden, joined herein by my
son, Frank Redden as executor of said estate, of the county of Ellis, for and in
consideration of the sum of $2600 to me paid and secured to be paid by C.J.
Ruffin and wife, Imogene Ruffin as follows: $500.00 cash in hand paid, the
receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged and the further consideration of the
execution and delivery of one certain promissory note...for sum of $2,100.00 to
be paid $150.00 annually, the first to be paid January 27, 1944 until principal
and interest paid. Rate of six per centum per annum from date.

In futher consideration it is understood and agreed that the said C.J. Ruffin
and wife Imogene Ruffin their heirs and assigns shall insure the improvements on
the hereinafter described real estate for their full insurable value.

All that lot, tract or parcel of land lying and being situated in the city of
Ennis, in Ellis County, Texas and being Lot Number five (5) in Block Number
fifteen (15) said city of Ennis as per map thereof drawn by Theo Kosse and of
record in Book "M" page 517 Deed Records of Ellis County, Texas.
