for and in consideration of the sum of one thousand fifty ($1250);  Cash $500
with Promissory Notes on Corsicana National Bank.  

3 promissory notes due 1898, 1899, 1900  deed from Corsicana National Bank to
G.A. Fort, each for $250 executed by G.A. Fort payable to Corsicana National
Bank.  G.R. Fort vendor lien.  Part of T.J. Chambers Survey.

As follows:
1)SE corner of 200 acres tract of Elizabeth Sands in E line of 527 1/2 acre
tract that Mrs. Lewis sold to John Westbrook.  **note: Elizabeth Westbrook d/o
John married B.F. Sands who died Apr 1881**

2)Whence to a double Honey Locust (main prong) 7 inch diameter Brs S 10 E 39 vrs

3)Thence N 75 W with S line of Mrs. Sands land 672 vrs Stake in valley prairie

4)Thence Elm 4 inches in diam S 19 E 6 vrs

5)Thence S 15 W 8 vrs along W lin 527 1/2 acre bought from Mrs. Lewis Stake Nw
corner of D.C. Price 50 acre tract surveyor of John Westbrook old homestead

6) Thence Honey locust N one of a grove in a gully brs S 70 1/12 W S  oak and
scrubby double Elm 5 & 8 inc diam

7) Thence E with dividing line run between David T. Westbrook *note brother to
Elizabeth Sands*
and Dudley C. Price tract in old Westbrook home   

50 acres

Property of dec'd G.R. Fort, husband of Mrs. L.C. Fort, who made deed to G.T.
Ruffin pay the notes described in deed of said L.C. Fort.  Date  Dec 19, 1902 

NOTE:
G.T. Ruffin is son of H.J. Ruffin.  Lula, wife of G.T., is daughter of G.R. and
Louise Fort
