Cousins Take Honors in Graduating Class
of School at Alma

May 22   1940?

Thelma Whitfill and James Whitfill, cousins, will be the honor graduates of a
class of five from this Ellis County school this week.  Graduation exercises
will be held Thursday at the school with County Superintendent Robert McCrady,
speaker, Miss Jewell Littlejohn, Spanish and Enlgish teacher, is the sponsor of
the class. Other graduates are Elsie Mae Wright, Henrietta Whitfill and Evelyn
Costlow.

Additional Comments:
There is a photo of them on the article.  I think this was probably Dallas
Morning News.
