Sills is a son of Mr. and Mrs. T.J. Sills of Ennis, and a brother of Fletcher Sills, make-up man for The News. He is a former carrier boy for The News. Sills was inducted into service through the Ennis Draft Board March 1, 1941, and had been in the Philippines only a few weeks when the surprise Jap attack was made Dec 7. No direct word has been received from him since hostilities begun, but his parents have been advised by the War Department that he is well.
