Farmer to Fighter

Pfc Gilbert Wright, 37, enlisted in the United States Marine Corps February 19,
1942 and was sent to the Marine Base, San Diego, CA, and to Classification
School, Parris Island, SC

Wright, a farmer and tile worker, attended Ennis schools, is the son of Tom G.
Wright of Alma. His wife and son, Gilbert Wright Jr. reside at 107 E. Milam St.
Ennis.
