An Alleged Murder is Arrested
Waxahachie, Tex., Jan 18, Deputy Sheriff Grizzard arrested a man here Thursday 
evening on suspicion, having seen a description of him in The News.  He proves 
to be a party said to be wanted in Bell County for murder committed at Rogers 
on Dec. 30, and for whose arrest Sheriff Sparks of that county offers a reward 
of $25 and the relatives of the murdered man offers a reward of $400 for his 
conviction.  Sheriff Sparks and Mr. Moody of Bell county are here to-day to 
identify the prisoner and will leave with him for Belton to-night.

After being locked up the man confessed to Mr. Grizzard that he was the right 
man.  Mr. Grizzard makes an efficient deputy sheriff and since he has held the 
position he has succeeded in running down and capturing a number of old 
offenders in the county.
