Frank Flat killed
Famer who resided in Ellis County Shot
Waxahachie, Tex. April 21.
Frank Flat, a tenant on the Exall ranch in the southwestern part of Ellis
County, was shot and killed this afternoon about 1 o'clock. Joe Worthington who
also lived on the ranch was arrested and brought here. He claims self-defense.
He claims to have been attacked by Flat and cut on the arm. Flat was shot with a
revolver, the bullet entering the left side and producing instant death.
