Ruffin entertained Friday afternoon from 4:30 to 6:30 for her little daughter, Virginia Ann, celebrating her third birthday. A white cake bearing three pink candles was placed on the table which was overlaid with a red and white plaid table cloth. Janet Walker and Jane McBriety won the prizes in the games played. The favors were parasols, dolls, cars and balloons. Cake and ice cream was served to Phillip and Joyce Segrist, Joe Bob and Janet Walker, LaVern, Martha Ann and Inez Horan, Mary Elizabeth Williams, Martin Hays, LaClair Hermann, Norma Jean Smith, Jane and Harry McBrierty, James Ray Campbell, Loretta and Janice Fisher, Joe David and Virginia Ann Ruffin. Mrs. Ruffin was assisted in entertaining by Mrs. Campbel, Mrs. Lloyd Smith and Mrs. L.S. Sigrist.
