Mrs. Ed R. Schlinder Gives Twin Children Birthday Party ? 1925? Mrs. Ed. R. Schlinder entertained Thursday afternoon in honor of her twin daughter and son, Katherine Geraldine and Edward Richmond Schindler, at her home, 203 West Waco Street. [Ennis] The little tots merry voices bespoke of the good time provided by the hostess. The ever popular donkey contest, one of the many provided for their entertainment, was won by Jester Bernice Kendall and Jane Dunkerley. Sam Keever was awarded the prize in the Easter egg hunt. The souvenirs in the beautifully decorated birthday cake were cut by the following: Thelma Mario, the ring; Sam Keever, the dime: Rosalie Tate the nickel; Caroline Latimer, the thimble; Gwendolyn Mann, the button; Geraldine Schindler, the heart; Bobbie Anderson, the wishbone. Those assisting Mrs. Schindler in entertaining the little guests and serving the refreshments, consisting of ice cream, angel food cake and French tarts were Mrs. Roy Woodruff, Mrs. C.G. Shugart, Mrs. T.F. Sullivan, Mrs. H. Slabotsky.
