Two Ennis People
Being Treated Against Rabies

1936 ?

Two residents of the Ennis community are taking treatment for rabies after
having been bitten by dogs last week.

Mrs. R. M. Whitfill was bitten on the right leg just above the knee by a dog
belonging to a neighbor.  The dog was later killed by an automobile and the head
was sent to Austin for examination, however, it was in such a condition that
examination could not be made.

Louis Kudrna, Jr. son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Kudrna, who lived east of Ennis, was
bitten on the right arm by a dog belonging to his uncle.
