ALDERMAN-Ennis, Texas, March 4-Joseph S. Alderson, 74 years old, a native of 
Mississippi and a citizen of Texas since 1878, died at his home here Tuesday 
afternoon.  He is survived by his wife and four sons, Newton and Frank of 
Dallas; Joe Jr and T. W. Alderman of San Saba. and four daughters, Mrs. Vena 
Boorts of Robstown; Mrs. Nettie Calvert of Dallas; Mrs. Dona Price of Harrold, 
and mrs. Anna Northam of Quanah.  S. T. Green conducted the funeral service at 
Keever's Chapel at 11:15 Wednesday morning with burial in Myrtle Cemetery.

Additional Comments:
His name is listed as Alderman in the caption for the death notice but when 
his name is written it is Alderson.  He is listed in the Texas Death Index as 
Joseph S. ALDERMAN so I believe that Alderman is the correct spelling.
