Ennis Weekly Local
July 18, 1901

Mr. F. H. Atwood who has been sick for  some weeks, died Wednesday about 1
o'clock surrounded by his family and several relatives and friends. He has been
a resident of Ennis for many years and was an honorable upright  Christian
gentleman ana had many friends at his demise.  He was 71 years of age and had
been for many years a consistent and valuable working member of the Presbyterian
church.  The funeral was held at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. R.T. Brumbeck
yesterday morning at 10:30 o'clock and interment at Myrtle Cemetery.
