Ennis Weekly Local
Mr. M.D. Champ, a good citizen of the Crisp community died Tuesday night with
hemorrhages of the bowels. He was an upright man, highly respected by all his
neighbors. He had many friends and acquaintances in Ennis. He was a son of the
late J.I. Champ and a brother of Mrs. J.A. Noel. His wife died about eight
months ago. He leaves three orphan children ranging in age from four to ten
years. The remains were interred in the Hines Chapel cemetery at 5 o'clock
Wednesday evening.
