Bud Childress died about Noon today. Bud Childress who has been sick with cancer
for a long time died at the home of Mrs. Nellie Black at 605 W. Milam just
before noon yesterday. He formerly lived in the Bristol community for years but
recently resided in Palmer. He was brought to the Ennis sanitarium about 2 monts
ago, and when that institution was closed, a month ago, he was carried to the
home of Mrs. Black who has been taking care of him. Up to press time, no funeral
arrangements had been announced.
