Her body was brought to Alma Wednesay. Funeral services were held at 10 o'clock this morning, followed by burial in the Rice Cemetery. Mr. and Mrs. C.J. Ruffin were among those from Ennis attending the funeral. NOTES: It was believed that Genevieve's heart had been weakened when she had diptheria as a child. The disease killed two of her brothers. Surviving were her mother, Sally, father, George, and brothers, Frank, Clyde, Hug, Theodore, Hatton and Edward. C.J. Ruffin was the younger brother of her mother, Sally Ruffin Collard.
