Goodwin died in Austin, Monday. He was carried there for treatment nearly 3 months ago. Mr. Goodwin was about 62 year and had resided here many years. He is survived by his wife, a son, Oscar Buster Goodwin of Ennis, a daughter, Mrs. Nancy Rogers of Washington, four brothers, T.B. and J.N. Goodwin of Ennis, A.M. and John Goodwin of Dallas and a sister, Mrs. Chas Jacobs of Denton. He was a member of the Tabernacle Baptist Church and of the W.O.W. Lodge here. His health had been failing for several years. The remains brought to Ennis for burial, arriving on the early morning train from the south, and the funeral took place from the home on S. Laurel Street, conducted by Rev. w.E. Brittain, with interment in Myrtle cemetery.
