Johnson, 60 former Dallas resident, died Monday in San Diego, CA. A native of Ennis, Mrs. Johnson lived in Dallas twenty years before she moved to California in 1942. Her husbnd was manager of the Trinity Theater on South Ewing. While in Dallas, Mrs. Johnson was a member of the Gospel Lighthouse in Oak Cliff where she taught Sunday school. She is survived by her husband, a daughter, Mrs. Innes W. Schwartz, Dallas; a grandson, Dennis Schwartz, Dallas; eight sisters, Mrs. J.L. Molson and Mrs. J.L. Murchison and Mrs. will Crowell all of Dallas; Mrs. W. C. Ruffin, Mrs. Lillie Ruffin and Mrs. Jack Treadway of Alma, Ellis County; Mrs. Leonard Snodgrass, Ennis and Miss Stella Brown, Midland; two brothers, Chester Brown, Wilburton, OK; and Clarence Brown, San Diego CA Funeral services will be held at 2pm Friday at Bethel Temple. The Rev. Albert Ott will officiate. Burial will be in the Laurel Land Memorial Park.
