W.F. Jones, aged 78, known throughout Ellis County, as one  of the substantial
farmer citizens died at his home near Forreston Thurs at noon. Funearl services
were held at the city Cemetery, Waxahachie at 5 o'clock Fri.  The deceased was a
native of Tennessee and came to this county 39 years ago. He reared a large
family in Forreston community and only last Sund the family assembled at the old
home for a reunion.  The children: Mrs. D.H. Clingan, Big Spring; mrs. Perl
Smith, Forreston; Felix Jones, Waxahachi; Mrs. d.O. Freeman, Boyce; Mrs. H.H.
Sealey, Waxahachie; Ed Jones, Roanoke; T.C. Jones, Waxa.
