Ellis County Pioneer Dies

Palmer, Ellis Co, Texas Jan 8  [1931]

Aunt Thursday Jones, 84, Ellis County pioneer, died at the home of her son,
Henry Lightsey, four miles southwest of Palmer Monday night. She was injured by
a fall several years ago and had been an invalid since. She is survived by one
sister, Mrs. Jane Arnold of Palmer, and five sons, Lee and Kenneth Jones of
Palmer, Jake Jones of Grand Prairie, Will Lightsey, Van Alstyne; and Henry
Lightsey.  Burial was at Ennis Tuesday.
