Lindle,86, died Monday, Sept 11 at his home in Ennis (1995). He was born June 7, 1909 in Alma the son of Claude L and Mary E. Whitfill Lindle. He was reared in Alma and graduated from Alma High School. After graduating he was employed by the Southern Pacific Railroad in the storage dept. On Sept 14, 1941 he was married to Louise M. Champion. After their marriage they lived in Ennis. He retired in 1975 as a conductor of the railroad. Mrs. Lindle preceded him in death on July 7, 1994. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, the IOOF Lodge, the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Conductors and St. John's Catholic Church. He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Willie (Cecelia) Kucera of El Paso and Lavina Galbraith of Garland; a sister-in-law, Maurine Allen of Waxahachie; four nieces, Mrs. Paul Schwartz of Waxahachie, Mrs. Weldon Wadsworth of Joshua TX, Mary G. Gorman of Garland and Frances Galbraith of Richardson; one nephew, Robert Sanders of Ennis; two great nephew, Chris Galbraith of Cedar Creek and Clay Gorman of Garland; three great nieces Diane Galbraith of Lancaster, Robert and Gretchen Bosco of Garland and Ginger Galbraith of Garland; and four great nieces and nephews, Britian McCauley of Lancaster, Mega Galbraith of Lancaster, Jordan Galbraith of Lancaster and Alex Bosco of Garland. Rosay will be recited at 7:30 pm Wednesday in the Keever Chapel. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10a.m. Thursday in St. John's Catholic Church with Rev. Carlo Maglundsod as celebrant. Interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary.
