J.C. Malloy, Ferris Tex July 26. 
J.C. Malloy, who was born in Cheran, S.C. Jan 21, 1848, died here today. He came
to Texas in 1867 and was married to Miss Emma Goble here in 1873. Funeral
services will be held from the residence at 10  o'clock on Sund. Mr. Malloy is
survived by a widow and four daughters as follows: Mrs. A. Wilcher and Miss
Lizzie Malloy, Ferris; Mrs. L.H. Orr of Haskell, OK, and Mrs. Ray Cooken of
Celina, and four sons, S.A. and W.C. Malloy of Ferris, Coit Malloy, US Navy, and
Allie B. Malloy US Navy, San Pedro CA.
