Matkin conducted from First Baptist Church at 11 a.m. Friday. Died in McCall's sanitarium at 2:25 pm Thurds following an operation. Rev. H.B. Prather, the pastore conducted the service...remains to Myrtle. Pallbearers were the following physicians: Drs. R.A. and W.P. McCall, J.S. Terry, A.L. Thomas, A.J. Cox, and W.E. Campbell. Born July 12, 1872, lacking but one day of having lived 46 years. She was born at Roan's Prairie in Grimes County but was brought to Ennis when a baby. .... Survived by her son, George, who holds a responsible position with the bank in ElPaso, a daughter, Mrs. Robert Jameson and a little grandson, Robert Jameson Jr. of Dallas; her father, Dr. J.C. Loggins, 3 brothers John M. Loggins of Ennis, Jack of Dallas and Pat H. of Corsicana and 2 sisters, Miss Winnie M. Loggins, Ennis; Mrs. A.E. Howell of Plainview.
