Fowler 6-29-32 (date is missing - so this date may be incorrect) Fred Muirhead Died Saturday Funeral Sunday Fred Muirhead, 19, died Saturday night at 10:30 at the Municipal Hospital where he was taken Saturday afternoon at 3:30 in the Keever ambulance, after a hemorrhage of the brain suffered Saturday shortly after eating lunch as he was enroute to town. He was born in Como, Hopkins County, Texas and came with his parents to Ennis fifteen years ago. He attended the Ennis public schools and was a member of the First Baptist Church. He was also a member of the Young Men's Class of the Sunday School, and of the B.Y.P.U. which he attended regularly. Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. O.V. Muirhead, two brothers, Paul and Vernon Muirhead, and one sister, Betty Joe Muirhead. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 4 o'clock at the First Baptist Church with the pastor, Rev. A.J. Kirkland and Rev. L.S. Ballard of Dallas, a former pastor here, officiating. Interment was made in Myrtle Cemetery with J.E. Keever in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers were J.C. Rogers, Maureen Parks, George Quimby, Elvis Norman, Jimmy Brigance and Clark Riley. Among those out of town here for the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. R.R. Wilson and Mrs. Irene Douglas of Dallas, Mr. and Mrs. D. Turnes of Frost; Mr. and Mrs. Henry Muirhad and family, Mrs. Sam Muirhead and Mr. and Mrs. Monroe Muirhead, Waxachie.
