Mrs. Geo Nevola
Died at Alma
Funeral Thursday

3-3? - 1938

Mrs. George Nevola, age 54, native of Czechoslovakia and resident of the Alma
community for thirty-three years, died Tuesday afternoon at 4:15 at her home in
Alma, followimg an illness of seven weeks.

Funeral services will be held Thursday morning at 10 o'clock at the home in Alma
with Rev. J.H. Baldridge, pastor of the First Methodist Church of Ennis,
officiating.

Interment will be made in Myrtle Cemetery with J.E. Keever in charge of
arrangements.

Mrs. Nevola, formerly Jennie Syptak, was born in Czechoslovakia, Jan 18 1884 and
was married there to George Nevola in 1902.  They came to American in 1905 and
settles in the Alma community where they have resided since that time.

Surviving are her husband and three children, two daughters, Miss Carrie Nevol
and Mrs. Chas. Haskovec, and one son, John Nevola, employee of Wm Cameron & Co
of Ennis.

Also surviving are two brothers, Chas. Syptak and Anthony Syptak of Detroit,
Mich and two sisters, Mrs. Caroline Brezina of Detroit, Mich and Mrs. Frances
Palat of Richmond, Texas; also her mother, Mrs. Rosa Syptak, who resides in
Detroit, Mich.

Her father died here in 1930.
Mrs. Nevola has been a member of the Methodist church since coming to this
country in 1905.
