Waxahachie, Texas

John Quarles, 67, Waxahachie merchant, died at his home here following an
illness with pneumonia. He had been in business here for thirty years.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Ruth Quarles and two sisters, Mrs. E.W. Kelly and
Mrs. S. Grant King.

Funeral services will be held here Sunday. The day is the twenty-sixth
anniversary of his marriage. Burial will take place in City Cemetery.
