Singleton, a pioneer settler, died in this city this morning, aged 76 years. Mrs. Singleton was the mother of Judge D. F. Singleton of Ennis, and Vice President J. W. Singleton of the First National Bank here. She was a native of Tennessee, and with her husband, John H. Singleton, came to this county in 1849.
