Anthony, Minister of the Gospel. She was the daughter of Col Septimus Lemuel Brewer and Amanda Beall Brewer. Mary Ann Brewer was born Sept 5, 1849. W. Henry Jinks served as the official Taylor County (GA) Surveyor 1887-1889. He moved with his family to Alma in Ellis Co about 1900. His sister's family -- Winnie Virginia Jinks Ruffin had previously moved in 1886. Henry died 21 Apr 1901 on his farm near the old community of Leland (between Alma and the Trinity River) and is buried in Rice Cemetery, Navarro Co, TX. After his death, the widowed, Mary Ann, lived with their eldest son, Napoleon Jenks in Louisiana.
