Harrison Ruffin and his wife, Laura Whitfill Ruffin.

William Harrison was the son of Henry J and Winnie Virginia Jinks Ruffin. He was
born May 3, 1879 in Taylor County Georgia.

Laura was the daughter of Benjamin B. and Delima Whitfill born April 11, 1884.

They were married by Rev. J.F. Hughes, believed to have been a Baptist preacher.

The Whitfills were staunch Catholics and the Ruffins were Methodist, so Laura's
family was very much against it.
