Till Ruffin, standing, was the son of Henry J. and Winnie Virginia Jinks Ruffin.

Seated was his cousin, 
Monroe Humphries, son of Henry Ruffin's younger sister, Fannie Ruffin married to
Dubose Humphries.

Monroe was born around 1877 in Taylor County Georgia, and probably came for a
visit with the Ruffin family when this photograph was taken.  He possibly lived
in Texas. His father died when he was 11, and his mother when he was 13.

No other information has been found about Monroe.
