He was 75 and lived in El Paso for 38 years. Services have already been conducted. By the age of 19 he owned his own grocery store, which led to other business endeavors, including a home liquor distillery, a bus transportation company and later Funeraria La Paz in Juárez. He branched out by opening Funeraria Perches and later acquired the Juárez cemeteries, Jardines Eternos, Recinto de la Oración y Jardín Funeral Home. In addition, he established a casket manufacturing company in Monterrey, Mexico, that now exports caskets to several U.S. cities, Belgium, South Africa and countries in Asia. He also opened La Paz Funeral Home in El Paso and La Paz Funeral Home in San Antonio and had a partnership in All Faith's Funeral Services in Austin. Survivors include his wife, Tere; his son, Salvador Perches Jr.; his daughters, Beatriz Duhaime, Elodia Adamson, Dora Couch, Ana Perches, Laura Perches and Sofia Perches; and eight grandchildren.
